I Love When it Snows... :)

Friday night I had been relaxing in my room, my roommate, Kaitlin had come home from a date and said 'Guess what Sarah?' It's snowing.' I jumped up and ran outside really quick to see the snow. I just love snow! I came back in my room and made a split decision to go outside again, bundled up, grabbed my camera and  went on my way. I was only going to stay in the area of my apartment, but I decided to go on a spontaneous walk to campus. By this time it had to be about 10:30pm. I walked on campus and took some pictures..I decided to go to Old Main Hill, my absolute favorite place on campus. It was so peaceful, I sat on the hill and just reflected upon my life in the past year, and how blessed I am.  It was just what I needed. It was a beautiful night, with snow falling on the ground, it was simply amazing.

I. Love. Fall. :)

I absolutely love fall! It's my favorite season-ever. I love walking on campus and seeing all the beautiful colors and the view of Logan Canyon. The colors are so distinct this year, red, orange, yellow...I love it! I went to my friend Emily's yesterday, who lives on campus, I brought my camera and snapped some photos on the way there, and I decided to take the scenic route home. I am pretty sure when I can afford it, I am going to buy myself a fancy Nikon or Canon camera, I love to take pictures. :)

Happiness... :)

Happiness is all I could think of for this title. It's the word that describes how I have felt recently. :) Life is great, I am so blessed right now, I have a wonderful family, an amazing best friend and boyfriend, and awesome friends. I really don't know what there is to complain about...life is good! :)

This weekend was great. Evan came up for a tour of campus and to go to the football game. He met me after his tour and my class. We went to his adviser meeting and after that we went back to my apartment to have a late lunch. After that, we went all around Logan in search of a classic movie, Casablanca. Evan was determined to find it, but none of the stores we went to had it, so we were kinda bummed out by that. We ended up getting a different movie, Unknown, that movie was ridiculously crazy! I met his grandparents and   cousins who live in Hyrum, it was a lot of fun. :) Instead of going to the corn maze, we watched a movie because the weather was so bad. The movie keeps you guessing the whole time, that was for sure! It was a great movie night. :)

Saturday Evan came over before the game and we exchanged music, he gave me over 1,100 songs. I have a lot of music to keep me busy for a while! :D We met his cousins at their apartment to get Aggie ice cream before the game, it was delicious as always. :) When we got to the game, the Aggies were down 12-0, but as soon as we sat down and found a spot, the Aggies were on fire. In the 1st half they scored 42 points...the first half! Wyoming couldn't stop Utah State. It was such an awesome game, my voice was almost gone and the game wasn't even over! It was so fun to have Evan there, he kept insisting the Aggies were winning because of his awesome Utah State hat, it was great. :) It was such an awesome game...the final score ended up being 63-19, USU. Wyoming couldn't stop the Aggies' offense, and the Aggies' defense was awesome. It was a great game to go to. :) After the game, we all went to Ashton's-Evan's cousin-apartment and hung out for a bit. It turns out she lives right across the street from me, pretty crazy! Evan and I left a little later so he could take me home. We hung out at my apartment for a little bit before he had to go because he was leaving early the next morning to go back home. It was such a great weekend, I am so glad Evan was able to come up. :)
Life truly is good right now, I am so happy. :) School is stressful as ever, but I am not letting it bring me down...I am just so happy with life :) I am so blessed right now, I couldn't ask for anything more :)

Final score of the game :) GO AGGIES!

Conference Weekend 2011 :)

I went home this conference weekend and it was a blast! :) After a long shuttle ride home (It felt like forever because of the traffic...) I got picked up at the airport by my dad and we got my mom from work. I chilled at my house until getting ready for the Plain White T's concert. :) I went with Evan and had an absolute blast! He is so funny, he made me laugh all night long. :D There was two opening bands for the Plain White T's-Allison Park, who was really good, and the Summer Set. The Summer Set was great, but their base was really loud so it was hard at times to understand the lyrics haha. There was a short intermission before the Plain White T's came on. I must say, concessions at concerts or any events are ridiculously expensive! Fifteen bucks for two pretzels and two drinks? If you're hungry, like Evan and I were, it works. :P We decided to sit outside of the auditorium because we could see and hear the band better from where we were. It was a lot of fun to sing along to the songs, the Plain White T's are such a great band live! I love their music :) Evan bought their new CD and got it signed by the band, he got me to buy an older CD of theirs, which it awesome! :) We blasted the new album on the way home, especially when Rhythm of Love came on. It was a lot of fun. :D We talked forever at my door and got talking about Linkin Park, so we decided to take a drive and blast our favorite song from their latest album. Good times right there. :D Friday was awesome!

Saturday was the first session of General Conference, it was amazing to watch and listen to the general authorities. :) The spirit was so strong. Afterwards, my mom, two younger sisters and I went to lunch for my birthday at Jordan Landing, I chose Rumbi Grill...mmmm. :) It was a lot of fun, we also went  clothes shopping. It was a good thing we didn't spend more time at Aeropostale than we did, or else I would have spent too much money. Haha. I love Saturday shopping trips with my mom and sisters :) When we got home, I finally got to see my older sister's new car, it's awesome! I jumped on the tramp with my little sisters in a cool rain storm and we took some sweet pictures, it was a blast, I felt like a little kid again. :) I played Just Dance and my sisters kicked my butt, but I still had a lot of fun. Afterwards, all my sisters, my mom and I went out to Article Circle to get some ice cream, it was soooo busy because of the priesthood session! We didn't have to wait too long though, which was nice. We watched Kid History when we got home and some other funny videos on youtube, it was a lot of fun. :) Later that night, Evan came and got me to go to his house to watch Tron. We started it way later because I was talking to his dad for a while, it was great. We were so dead during the movie, we were crazy. It was awesome. :D That movie was epic! I hadn't seen it before, and I was surprised I actually was following it with how tired I was. It was a great day and a great night :)

Sunday was great with watching conference and spending time with family. I had my birthday dinner because I wasn't going to be home for my birthday. We had it early because I had to take a shuttle ride home early evening. I didn't get to have my cake, so I was sent home with some. I got some awesome presents from my siblings, grandma and mom. :) I got some clothes, iTunes gift card, The Blindside and Thirteen Reasons Why, one of my favorite books. :) This weekend was absolutely great! :) I wish it didn't have to end, but that's how it goes. :P  I can't wait to go home again! :)
